No cease fire for Palestinians
While a delicate ceasefiree appears to be holding in the Lebanon, no one is looking at what is going on in the Palestianian territories, and Gaza in particular. Israeli rockets are continuing to be fired into Palestianian homes. Many women and children have been killed. And Israel still gets the kid glove treatment by the international community. It is an evil state, criticised by many Jewish people.
Elsewhere settlers are allowed to destroy Palestinian farms, or land is used for military purposes by Israel. No wonder Hamas has succeeded in the polls, no wonder a Hezbollah leader is now a hero. No one else stands by the Palestinians whether Muslim, Christian or secular. And this is all supported by Bush and Blair. No wonder the U.S. and U.K. have become targets. Terror is a daily experience for Palestinians, and the greatest perpetrator of terror, the Israeli government.
